In this workshop, you’ll learn practical tips to make this process smoother and safer for you, as well as very useful pain management techniques. You'll discover the best positions to be in to protect your pelvic floor and make pushing easier, as well as how to help support the baby and their passageway through he birth canal. Plus, we'll share techniques to help you breathe effectively so you're not worn out when it's time to push.

What people are saying.

Kathleen has a wealth of knowledge about birth and anatomy and after taking her Pushing class, I feel not only well prepared for labor, but dare I say, even excited to push.

Pushing seems like the scariest part of birth for me. This course helped ease my mind that my body is designed to birth and also had some really great practical tips and research about the best positions to be in and how to breath.

Kathleen’s Pushing class was so helpful when it came time to birth my son. I practiced the prompts from class and kept hearing kathleen’s voice in my head with her breathign prompts. I only pushed for 45 mintutes and he was born, with absolutely no tearing! I’m so happy.

After I tore pretty badly in my first birth, I’ve been nervous about pushing with my next birth. I liked the practical information on what positions are best for pushing and feel more confident about how to push with my next baby.
