Arvigo® Maya Ambdominal Massage

The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy® were developed by Dr. Rosita Arvigo as a result of her long term apprenticeship with the late Maya H’Men (Doctor-Priest), Don Elijio Panti of Belize.

The Arvigo Techniques® include bodywork, herbal medicine, and traditional remedies, to support healing the body and spirit.

This practice works with multiple body systems to restore homeostasis through arterial and venous circulation, moving the lymph, stimulating the nervous system for healing, releasing fascia, and increasing the flow of qi. Through these systems, reproductive and digestive challenges are able to heal.

Many women report the experience of deep levels of healing as this work can help to bring a displaced uterus back to optimal alignment, alleviating menstrual, sexual, and reproductive challenges. Spiritual healing alongside this practice supports embodiment, integration and release of trauma. In this way, this long lineage of traditional healing work can give the body and spirit an impetus for returning to balance and for increased healing.

Arvigo® techniques can be supportive to many reproductive, digestive and structural concerns - including infertility, menstrual conditions, fibroids, endometriosis, GERD, IBS, Crohn’s disease, adhesions, scarring, constipation, chronic fatigue, migraines and chronic pain.

It can be a potent ally on fertility journeys, working in conjunction with assisted reproductive technologies.
